On January 6, 2025, the Ground Operations and Commercial Department, Flight Operations Department, Training Department, and Engineering Department of Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. met with the Director of U-Tapao Airport to present a New Year’s gift and express gratitude for the continued cooperation and support throughout the past year.

U-Tapao Airport holds significant strategic importance for the company, serving as both a primary operations base and a maintenance hub that plays a vital role in supporting Pattaya Airways’ operations. Additionally, the airport is historically significant for the Pattaya Group, as it was the first airport used in launching the group’s aviation business.

On this occasion, Group Captain Surasak took part in the sacred blessing ceremony, paying respects and seeking prosperity for the unit, as well as a merit-making ceremony to dedicate good deeds and foster auspiciousness for the officers, personnel, and members of 603 Squadron.

December 5, 2024, Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. successfully conducted its inaugural flight on the Bangkok-Phnom Penh route (VV922/923). The operation proceeded seamlessly as planned, with outbound flight VV922 departing from Suvarnabhumi Airport and arriving at Phnom Penh International Airport on schedule. Likewise, the return flight VV923 was executed smoothly without any issues.

The launch of this route represents a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to expand its air cargo network and enhance its international freight capabilities. It highlights Pattaya Airways’ commitment to punctuality, safety, and delivering high-quality services to meet customer needs.

This successful first day of operations reflects the dedication and readiness of the entire team to meet customer expectations while fostering business collaboration and growth within the ASEAN region.

This meeting focused on building an understanding of the airline’s capabilities and potential in providing air cargo services, emphasizing quality, safety, and efficiency, as well as supporting economic and transportation businesses within the region.

The discussions also highlighted the development of cooperation in supporting and coordinating the application for a Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC) to comply with the aviation requirements of Myanmar authorities. Pattaya Airways Collaborates with Public and Private Sectors to Aid Northern Flood Victims

On September 6, 2024, Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. operated a special charity flight (VV772) from Bangkok to Chiang Rai (08:00-10:10 LT), followed by flight VV773 from Chiang Rai to Nan (11:40-12:55 LT), and flight VV774 from Nan to U-Tapao (14:25-16:25 LT). These flights transported essential relief supplies, including food, medicine, and necessary items, to aid flood victims in Northern Thailand.

Pattaya Airways worked in collaboration with Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) and several disaster relief organizations, including the Sirikorn Chiang Rai Disaster Relief Association, Dusit Volunteers, Bua Phet Rescue Association, 5 for All Foundation, Luang Por Somwang Wat Klang Bang Phra Disaster Relief Unit, Teach for Life, and the Haroon Foundation, to deliver these much-needed supplies to affected areas.

This relief mission aimed to provide essential support to the heavily impacted provinces of Chiang Rai, Phrae, Nan, Phitsanulok, and Mae Hong Son. By facilitating the swift and efficient transport of aid, Pattaya Airways is committed not only to its role in aviation but also to serving as a key contributor in times of crisis. We hope that this mission will provide hope and encouragement to the people of Northern Thailand as they face the challenges posed by the severe flooding.
