On November 14, 2024, the Compliance, Safety and Security Department of Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. met with the Commercial Counselor of the Myanmar Embassy to introduce the air cargo business of Pattaya Airways. This meeting focused on building an understanding of the airline’s capabilities and potential in providing air cargo services, emphasizing quality, safety, and efficiency, as well as supporting economic and transportation businesses within the region.
The discussions also highlighted the development of cooperation in supporting and coordinating the application for a Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC) to comply with the aviation requirements of Myanmar authorities. This collaboration will facilitate smooth and efficient operations, enabling Pattaya Airways to expand its air cargo service reach in the region.

Pattaya Airways Collaborates with Public and Private Sectors to Aid Northern Flood Victims
On September 6, 2024, Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. operated a special charity flight (VV772) from Bangkok to Chiang Rai (08:00-10:10 LT), followed by flight VV773 from Chiang Rai to Nan (11:40-12:55 LT), and flight VV774 from Nan to U-Tapao (14:25-16:25 LT). These flights transported essential relief supplies, including food, medicine, and necessary items, to aid flood victims in Northern Thailand.
Pattaya Airways worked in collaboration with Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) and several disaster relief organizations, including the Sirikorn Chiang Rai Disaster Relief Association, Dusit Volunteers, Bua Phet Rescue Association, 5 for All Foundation, Luang Por Somwang Wat Klang Bang Phra Disaster Relief Unit, Teach for Life, and the Haroon Foundation, to deliver these much-needed supplies to affected areas.
This relief mission aimed to provide essential support to the heavily impacted provinces of Chiang Rai, Phrae, Nan, Phitsanulok, and Mae Hong Son. By facilitating the swift and efficient transport of aid, Pattaya Airways is committed not only to its role in aviation but also to serving as a key contributor in times of crisis. We hope that this mission will provide hope and encouragement to the people of Northern Thailand as they face the challenges posed by the severe flooding.

The Chairman of Pattaya Group, Mr. Tossaporn Asunee, and the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nat Boonyavichkanont, were interviewed by Thai PBS regarding Pattaya Airways' air cargo operations in the ASEAN region. The interview focused on the company’s role in enhancing air freight services across the region, emphasizing efficiency, growth potential, and the expanding market within ASEAN.
On September 11, 2024, Thai PBS also filmed a documentary at U-Tapao International Airport as part of a new program highlighting developments in the domestic aviation industry. The documentary included an exclusive interview with Pattaya Airways’ Engineering Director, who provided insights into the company’s operations and ongoing initiatives aimed at further strengthening the airline’s capabilities in the aviation sector.
The documentary aims to offer viewers an in-depth perspective on the evolving landscape of aviation in Thailand and ASEAN, showcasing the significant contributions of Pattaya Airways in driving innovation and growth within the region.

Pattaya Airways and Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services Join Forces in Vietnam
On October 25, 2024, the Ground Operations and Commercial Department along with the Safety, Security and Quality Department of Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd., held a meeting with Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services (TCS) at their headquarters located within Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen the collaboration between the two organizations. TCS is a strategic partner that plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive warehousing services in Vietnam. This partnership encompasses warehouse management, air cargo transportation, and coordination of logistics operations, ensuring that Pattaya Airways’ processes run efficiently and align with international standards.
The focus of this meeting was on developing management systems and warehousing services that meet the needs of the rapidly growing market in the region. Partnering with TCS will enhance Pattaya Airways’ service capabilities, particularly in the areas of cargo transportation and distribution throughout Southeast Asia. This collaboration aims to efficiently manage increasing cargo volumes and expand business opportunities in the future.
